Can't remember the last time I went to the doctor (which is a good thing), last week I went crazy and went three times. Or maybe I should say the Western style facilities here in Shanghai went crazy on me.
It started of as a little blister in my mouth, but it became a bit bigger over time, so I decided (after two months) to go to the doctor for a check up. Then one doctor said I should see a specialist for surgical removal (4 mins, 50 euro's please), then the specialist said yes, you should remove it come back next time (2 mins, 100 euro's please), then he removed it (30 mins, 200 euro's) Guess when not having a proper health care insurance like we have in the Netherlands, you suddenly realize how freakin expensive everything is. :-S
The doctor will send the stuff to the lab to check what it actually is, it's probably just like some scar tissue from a 'trauma' or a minor virus infections. Who knows, but it's gone now, and I'm glad I went - at least it's not in the way anymore:-)
