Getting ready for Dalian

It's been awhile since I scribbled a few words....I just got back from a three week holiday in Europe and I have to say - this year was the first year I actually thought Europe isn't that bad of a place ;-) Same as last year, I stayed at my parents place in Tilburg for a while, Amsterdam and Sweden.

The weather was horrible, it was just raining cats and dogs like all day every day, but I did enjoy seeing my old friends, family, being in greens and of course showing Oscar around in Tilburg. (it was the first time that he went to Tilburg)

I only have 6 more days left until my contract ends, so we need to get ready for Dalian! For now, it will mostly be a lot of packing and sending off our stuff to Dalian (to an unknown destination still :-P) But our apartment will be taken care of while we are gone, so we only need to clean up (read: toss out) lots of personal stuff that we have collected in two years. (Think we'll be surprised on how much stuff we actually have)

We'll probably heading out of Shanghai around 15-20th August, and O and I were thinking about throwing a farewell party for ourselves. Not sure when, but make sure you'll be there! :-)
(hmmm then again, I forgot...blogspot is still being blocked by the government here - does anybody have any suggestions to go around it without asking everybody to use tor?)
