Last weekend we went to visit our good friend Daisy in Changchun. It's a city up north, and about 7 hours by train. The city is like any other Chinese City, although its famous for the fact that under the Japanese rule in this part of China, the 'puppet' (The Last Emperor) emperor PuYi lived in this place, and I believe the Japanese military headquarters were set up here too. So we visited this palace (I believe several scenes of the movie "The Last Emperor" were shot here)and saw many quite impressive old Japanese style buildings. And on our last day we went to one of the biggest parks in the region, it was a proper thick natural forest and very nicely set up. In the winter time you can even ski here :-)
But the best thing of all, was to see Daisy before she would leave for Spain. It was really nice to spend some quality time with her and family. Will really miss her :-( Hopefully we'll see each other in Europe one day...
